As soon as your wedding date is set, we recommend starting your search for your preferred vendors. Especially popular peak-season dates are often booked out 12 to 18 months in advance.
Since we only accompany a limited number of weddings each year, it’s worth reaching out early. In addition to photo and film teams, venues, florists, DJs and independent celebrants are often fully booked well in advance.
The earlier you enquire, the greater the chance that your preferred date is still available.
We get asked this question a lot—but the exact number always depends on the length of coverage, the flow of the day, and the special moments that unfold.
As a guideline, you can expect around 70 carefully edited images per hour. With a full-day wedding reportage, this usually results in several hundred high-quality memories that tell your story authentically and completely.
For us, it’s not about the number of images, but the quality. That’s why you’ll receive all the successful shots that reflect your emotions, the atmosphere and the most beautiful moments of your day—lovingly selected and professionally edited.
Our focus is on weddings and accompanying couples through all kinds of life stages. We’re lucky to accompany many of our couples over the years—from the engagement shoot to the wedding, and on to maternity, family or newborn shoots.
Alongside weddings, we also photograph couple shoots, family shoots, homestories and newborn shoots. Our aim is always the same: capturing real emotions, natural moments and timeless memories.

After you’ve sent us your enquiry, we’ll first check whether your preferred date is still available. Then we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible—usually the same day.
In a no-obligation get-to-know-you call via Google Meet, we’ll get to know each other in a relaxed way, talk about your wishes and wedding plans, and answer any open questions. It’s important to us that the chemistry is right, because we’ll be by your side on one of the most emotional days of your life.
After our call, you’ll receive a personalised offer from us along with all further information about our services. As soon as you decide to book us, we’ll reserve your date firmly and will be there for you with advice and experience at any time up to your wedding day.
As soon as your date reservation fee has been received, your date is firmly reserved for you.
A few days before the shoot, we’ll get in touch with you personally to discuss all important details such as the meeting point, time and the exact schedule. We also take current weather and light conditions into account so we can create the best possible conditions for your shoot.
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll find a suitable solution together. Often, especially atmospheric and natural images are created on cloudy days. For regular shoots, we can arrange an alternative date if needed. For weddings, we of course work with the conditions of the day and create beautiful memories regardless of the weather.
We know how excited you are to relive your memories after your wedding. That’s why you’ll receive a small preview gallery with the first selected images the day after your wedding, so you can experience the best moments again right away and share them with family and friends.
The full editing of your wedding reportage then follows with great attention to detail. You’ll usually receive your finished wedding photos within 8 to 10 weeks after your wedding day. We typically need a little more time for the wedding film, so you’ll usually receive it after around 10 to 12 weeks.
Your photos and wedding film will be provided via a password-protected online gallery that you can easily share with family and friends. In addition, you’ll receive your memories on a high-quality USB stick in a lovingly designed gift box, including selected fine-art prints.
Via the online gallery, your guests also have the option to download images or order high-quality prints and framed photos.
Yes, we cover weddings throughout Switzerland and, on request, abroad as well. However, our clear focus is Switzerland, as we’ve been working here for many years and already know many venues, vendors and schedules inside out. This local knowledge helps us react quickly to situations, find the most beautiful photo spots, and accompany your day in a relaxed and professional way. At the same time, we love travelling for special weddings and discovering new places. Just tell us about your plans—we’d love to hear more.
Don’t worry—bad weather doesn’t mean bad photos. In fact, especially atmospheric and romantic images are often created on cloudy days. Thanks to our experience, we’ll find beautiful options for your shoot even in the rain—whether under a covered spot, in a stylish indoor area, or with transparent umbrellas. The most important thing is that you enjoy your day—we’ll take care of capturing the special moments.
During your wedding, we accompany you mostly unobtrusively and in a documentary style. This allows real emotions, spontaneous moments and the little details to unfold that tell your story authentically. During the couple shoot, however, we’ll give you gentle guidance and small prompts so you feel comfortable and natural images can emerge. You don’t need any experience in front of the camera—our goal is for you to enjoy your moment together while we capture the memories for you.
Thankfully, this has never happened so far. Still, we’ve prepared for this case. Behind CUBU there isn’t just one person, but a well-rehearsed team of three creative minds. Each of us is experienced in both photography and film and is thoroughly familiar with our processes, our style and our quality standards.
